WHEN: Saturday, May 4, 2024, 6-9 p.m. I Live program begins at 7:30 p.m.
WHO: Carol Dedrich, CEO of Girl Scouts San Diego, and Sky Williams. Co-Host of The Show on Rock 105.3 and event emcee, will lead a patriotic pep rally on the Midway’s flight deck to honor top Girl Scout cookie entrepreneurs and military troops, “send off” cookies, and highlight the impact of the Girl Scout Cookie Program and OTM. The program will feature remarks from CDR Robin Dirickson, Executive Officer for Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron Fourteen on Coronado.
“As an Army veteran who served overseas, I know firsthand how the Operation Thin Mint℠ program can support the military community with ‘a taste of home’ from the Girl Scout Cookie Program,” said Dedrich. “This service project is especially important to us because we have a significant military presence in San Diego. It is an honor to teach our girls important entrepreneurial skills while also showing them the value of giving back to the community.”
