For Enrollment Specialists: Is Your School on the List?
Our annual recognition lists showcase organizations that are leading the way in fostering inclusive environments for veterans and the veteran community. We encourage your school to participate in our survey.
While participation is not required, it is strongly recommended as part of the evaluation process. Please note that our evaluations are conducted independently and are not influenced by paid participation.
After the evaluations conclude, results are announced via nationwide press release and published across U.S. Veterans Magazine platforms, including online, print and digital magazines and newsletters.

Survey Methodology
At U.S. Veterans Magazine, we are proud to present our recognition lists of the Top Veteran Schools, Top Milspouse Schools, and Top Yellow Ribbon Schools—a trusted guide for veterans, transitioning service members and military families seeking their next mission in the workforce or classroom.
These honorees are selected through a national evaluation process that includes both self-reported surveys and independent research by our team. Our evaluations are conducted independently and are not influenced by paid participation. Each organization was assessed on key criteria such as military benefits, ERG support, career transition initiatives and educational services tailored specifically for veterans. For schools, recognition was awarded to those offering critical support elements like Veteran Resource Centers, SVOs, VA Certifying Officials and academic credit for military training.
Our goal is to highlight institutions and employers that go beyond the basics—those truly committed to empowering veterans with the tools, support and opportunities they deserve. We thank and celebrate all those featured for their meaningful contributions to the veteran community. Honorees are listed alphabetically rather than ranked.
