Normandy, France – June 2026 – In a historic tribute to courage, service, and the often-overlooked role of women in wartime resistance, an all-female team of American veterans, first responders, and law enforcement leaders will parachute into Normandy, France, during the 82nd anniversary commemoration of D-Day.
The team – representing the nonprofit Fox Force Foundation, an organization focused on women’s leadership and resilience, will conduct the jump from a historic C-47 aircraft onto the same drop zones used by Allied paratroopers during the invasion of Nazi-occupied France in June 1944.
Scheduled during the international D-Day commemorations in June 2026, the mission will mark the first known all-women parachute jump into Normandy during the annual remembrance ceremonies, honoring the often unsung women who supported the resistance across occupied Europe during World War II.
The team includes 22 American women leaders of diverse backgrounds who will recreate the symbolic infiltration of wartime operatives and resistance fighters who risked their lives behind enemy lines.
“This mission is about honoring those who came before us while inspiring those who will lead after us,” said Toni Lavery, Fox Force Sergeant Major, U.S. veteran, paratrooper, and program leader. “Women have always played a critical role in defending freedom. This jump ensures their courage and contributions are remembered while showing future generations what service and leadership can look like.”
Honoring Legacy, Empowering the Future
Fox Force is a coalition of women veterans, first responders, and law enforcement professionals dedicated to mentorship, leadership development, and community resilience. The organization provides training and support programs that help women navigate major life transitions, strengthen leadership skills, and serve their communities.
The Normandy jump is being conducted in partnership with veteran-focused nonprofit organizations Liberty Jump Team and Warrior Rising and is intended to honor the women who sacrificed so much for our present-day freedoms, alongside the soldiers who fought on the beaches of Normandy, as well as the intelligence officers, resistance fighters, and support personnel whose courage and work enabled Allied victory.
Beyond its symbolic significance, the jump supports Fox Force’s broader mission to empower women through mentorship, resilience training, and community leadership initiatives.
Impact Beyond Normandy
In 2025 alone, Fox Force initiatives reached hundreds of women nationwide, including:
-600+ women trained in situational awareness and self-defense
-40+ at-risk women mentored through critical life transitions
-30+ students trained through an eight-week college safety and defense curriculum
-Multiple missing women located through community partnerships
-Survivors of domestic violence supported through rehabilitation and safety programs
A Mission Supported by Community
Fox Force is currently raising $165,000 to support the D-Day mission, covering training, travel, equipment, and operational readiness for the 22 women participating in the historic jump.
Corporate sponsors and community partners will play a vital role in bringing the mission to life while supporting the organization’s year-round programs for women veterans and first responders.
“Women have always served, fought, and sacrificed for freedom, but their stories haven’t always been told,” Lavery said. “This mission is about honoring those women while showing young girls everywhere that they belong in these roles too, that they can lead, serve, and accomplish anything despite the naysayers.”
Sponsorship Opportunities
Organizations and individuals can support the mission through several sponsorship levels:
-Title Sponsor – $25,000+
-Airborne Sponsor – $10,000
-Freedom Sponsor – $5,000
-Patriot Sponsor – $2,500
-Supporter – $1,000 and under Sponsors will receive recognition during the Normandy commemoration and across Fox Force promotional media and outreach efforts.
