During the ceremony, Maurice P. Kerry will be among those honoring acclaimed actor and producer Dennis Quaid, who will receive the Patriot Ally Award for his longstanding support of the military and veteran community.
The MV Awards is a premier national event dedicated to recognizing military service members, veterans, and patriotic allies in entertainment and media. The Gala brings together filmmakers, actors, producers, military leaders, industry executives, and community supporters for an unforgettable evening celebrating storytelling that elevates and redefines the veteran narrative.
“Maurice brings professionalism, presence, and heart to the stage,” said Joe Ramirez, Chairman of NEAAMV. “As we continue to grow the MV Awards nationally, having Maurice P. Kerry co-host an evening that also honors Dennis Quaid reflects the caliber of voices supporting veterans in media.”
The 2026 ceremony will include national film and media award presentations, special recognition categories including Vietnam Veteran-related films, and honorees from both veteran and non-veteran creative communities. Co-Host Maurice P. Kerry will guide the evening’s program as the MV Awards recognizes Distinguished Guest Dennis Quaid and other leaders supporting the veteran community.
The evening will feature a red-carpet reception, VIP experiences, and celebrate esteemed guests from the entertainment and military sectors.
The MV Awards 2026 is proudly supported by partner organizations including American Legion Ronald Reagan Palisades Post 283, SAG-AFTRA, True Religion Brand Jeans, and VetStreamTV, whose support helps advance the mission of recognizing military service members, veterans, and patriotic allies in entertainment media.
