The horse show community is coming together for a 3rd year to support Endeavor Therapeutic Horsemanship. The two-day hunter/jumper show, complete with a gourmet lunch under the VIP tent, is scheduled for August 9th – 10th (rain date August 11th). The show is held on the beautiful grounds of CEO Stables at 97 West Patent Road in the heart of bucolic Bedford benefiting the programs and services of Endeavor Therapeutic Horsemanship. Strongly rooted in community and the love of horses, this show follows the ideals of CEO Stables and is friendly and supportive of riders of all levels and culminates with a $5,000 Hunter Derby on Friday and a $7,500 Jumper Derby on Saturday.

Endeavor board member Kate Oliver, a professional trainer of 28 years and owner of CEO Stables, says “I’ve always known how good horses are for the human soul but Endeavor has taken it to a higher level, changing lives for veterans, children with autism, people seeking physical rehabilitation and so many others. It’s inspired me to do more for my community. The Invitational is now a local tradition, bringing together our horse loving community to benefit Endeavor.”

More than 200 of the most well-known and accomplished equestrians from New York City, Fairfield Country, Westchester County, Long Island, and Wellington, Florida will be invited to participate. We anticipate the registration of about 60 competitors each day making an exciting weekend of friendly competition. The Endeavor Invitational is also collaborating with “Green is the New Blue” initiative to educate and inspire equestrians to clean up horse shows and lessen their environmental impact.

Fun and free general admission for spectators of all ages, the day will boast a family friendly children’s area complete with arts n’ crafts, bounce house, and visits from the Endeavor equine “Harrison Ford”, vendors from local equestrian and Bedford area retail, and a VIP tent. Admission to the VIP is $50 per day and will boast a gourmet breakfast and lunch and open bar. There will also be a high-end raffle for a custom Hermes saddle donated by RIDE, local Bedford equestrian lifestyle store and long supporter of Endeavor, as well as a limited edition print by Julie Betts Testwuide, a local award-winning photographer and artist who captures stunning images of horses, wildlife, and landscapes around the world.

Title sponsors Agway and Marshall & Sterling are supporting the Endeavor Invitational for the third consecutive year. Endeavor partner, EQUUS Foundation, will be present at the show with the mobile “Rider’s Closet” for equestrians to donate gently used equestrian attire for those in need.
