Celebrate the “The US Army Great Cycling Experiment Of 1897”
On June 14th, 1897 the 25th infantry began a bicycle journey from Fort Missoula, Montana that would take them 41 days and 1,900 miles to St. Louis, Missouri. This June 14th we will begin a celebration of the 125th anniversary (Quasquicentennial – say that three times fast) of their journey! Most events are free and open to the public!
